There's a spiffy new edition of a late H.G. Wells novel, Star Begotten, that's being published by Wesleyan University Press in mid-September. Ordinarily the university library here doesn't get new books until months after publication, but the catalog's already showing a listing--"under consideration for purchase"--for this one.

Maybe I'll be able to get my hands on it some time in October. Looks as if it'd make an excellent read for Halloween.
