A bang, not a whimper
Two months into L.'s retirement, and I'm finished with the stockpiling of books. No more book purchases! Or at least, no purcha...

Lou wondered where his information would go when he died. Would filaments of learning plant patterns on earth? Would his brain train the sin...
But poetry books are also notoriously...thin.
ReplyDeleteDon't those look pretty. I only have one shelf of poetry books.
ReplyDeleteThat's so depressing.
ReplyDeleteIndeed. You'd think someone who works in a library could do a little better. :)
ReplyDeleteI probably shouldn't mention this but...
ReplyDeleteI can count the number of poetry books in my collection on one hand. It's sad, I know. Occassionally, I do try. Really, I do!

As I have no more room for shelving, I need to do a purge.... it's a yearly thing with me. Select a box or two of books to go to the Rockcliffe Park Used-Book Sale.
Ted--I'm thinking about it.
ReplyDeleteBubee--I may have more books from high school on these two shelves than any other.
Cip--Davies is great. I've read only one of the trilogies at this point, though, so I still have a lot to look forward to.
