Writers' rooms.

I would feel very much at home in Claire Tomalin's study.


  1. Just wanted to remind you that the 24 Hour Readathon is this Saturday

  2. Claire Tomalin's is a bit too messy for me. I liked Kate Mosse's.

  3. Claire Tomalin can do no wrong -- she wrote that really good biography of Katherine Mansfield.

  4. I wonder who dusts for these folks. So many collections of little things.

    Marys Library looks a tad like Russell Hoban's nest, I'm afraid.


  5. Hilary Mantel's space seems like one in which I could make myself comfy... we seem to share a need for clear desks.

  6. My desk is clear at the moment, but that's because I spilled a glass of lemonade all over everything on Sunday evening and all the papers and books are now in the hall and in the bathrooms.
