What fun: Truth to Power.
I used to wish everyone in Congress would read The Grapes of Wrath. I'll ponder what the individual presidential candidates should read on my trip to the library to pick up holds.
What books would you recommend?

Grapes of Wrath is my book group's next pick. I've not read it.
ReplyDeleteI was supposed to read it in high school, I loved Steinbeck, but somehow came down with a bad case of senioritis and read the Cliff's Notes instead. When I finally got around to reading it in the early 90s, I was soooo ashamed of myself. It's definitely a must read.
ReplyDeleteThe Tunnel by William Gass. I'm kidding!
ReplyDeleteThe Sneetches and Other Stories by Dr. Seuss. "The Sneetches," "The Zax," and "What Was I Scared Of?" for their lessons; "Too Many Daves" for fun.
ReplyDeleteI haven't read any of those!
