How many books would you say you read in an average month?
So far this year, I'm averaging five books a month.
In a year?
My average for the last five years has been 77. Last year I read 75. I don't know if I'll manage that this year if I keep reading enormous classics.
Over the last five years?
I read 386 books between 2001 and 2006.
The last 10?
I read a total of 851 books over the last decade.

Hi! You read a lot! I really have to focus on reading more and enjoy life more. This week's questions are reminding me of this so much.
ReplyDeleteIsn't it amazing how much we read when it's broken down like this? Makes one much more aware...
ReplyDeleteMine's up here.
WOW you kept record since 2001! And that is alot of books reading! Very impressed. I wish I can remember mine in the last 5 and 10 years. But am sure I read lot too, but maybe more less than you.
ReplyDeleteHappy Booking Through Thursday! Here is Mine!
Wow, I love that you have all of the numbers for all the books you've read so far back. I only started keeping a list a couple of years ago. I read 70 last year and thought that was incredible for me, and that I won't be able to keep up that pace. I'm so impressed that you AVERAGE that many per year. Incredible!
ReplyDeleteHope you have a wonderful Thursday, and Happy Reading :)
Last year, 72, the year before 59. This year I think will be on the lesser side. I am reading harder stuff.
ReplyDeleteI might try to answer these, but I have no idea how many books I've read over the last 5 or 10 years. I wish I'd kept track!
ReplyDeleteReading all the posts make me kinda guilty, as it seems most of you keep track of the number of books read...I guess I better start doing so! LOL. Happy reading and Happy BTT!
ReplyDeleteI think that is pretty impressive. I read a lot last year, and lots of classics, but so far this year I have read a lot, but not much in the way of classics. Not sure what my problem is. I want to read them, but I can't seem to finish them.
