We had Ginger put to sleep this morning. We're very sad, but otherwise we're doing okay. She didn't suffer, and for that we are grateful.

  2. So sad to read about your loss, especially so soon after losing a favorite pet myself. Pets are such wonderful companions, it hurts almost more to lose them that some people in one's life.

    I'm sorry to hear that. We had to euthanize our 11-year old cat, Khayman, last fall, and it broke our hearts. *hugs*

    Susan, I'm so sorry for your loss. Ginger sounds like she was a wonderful dog. Having lost two beloved pets in the last six months, I understand how painful her loss is. Hugs to you and your family.

  13. Oh, I'm so very very sorry. We had to put down a dog last Thanksgiving and it was one of the hardest things ever.

  Two months into L.'s retirement, and I'm finished with the stockpiling of books. No more book purchases! Or at least, no purcha...
