I don't know why using Blogger has to be such an ordeal.
These days I can't write a blog post unless I use Goggle Chrome, but I can't respond to a comment on my own blog unless I use Internet Explorer. And it took me awhile to figure out that solution.
My apologies to everyone who's tried to comment here and failed.
I like Mozilla Firefox as my browser.
ReplyDeleteI operate a mac, so it's Safari for me, and that generally works pretty well with Blogger. But lately, I've had huge problems with some of the Blogger formatting, especially the "quote" function that now wants to indent differently from one line to the next and add weird row spacing randomly. It's a never ending battle to make all this software play nicely together.
ReplyDeleteI still don't like Wordpress as well, and I've been using it almost a year...but it works.
ReplyDeleteI've thought about moving house, Jeanne, but I've got to prove to myself that the effort of moving will be worth it since I haven't been much of a blogger the last two or three years. But it isn't heartening to hear that you don't like Wordpress as well.
ReplyDeleteSam, I've always found Blogger to be inconsistent. Sometimes we work well together and other times I have to fight it every step of the way.
Kristen, I'm trying this in Firefox. Let's see how it goes. . .
And it didn't. I'm back on IE.
ReplyDeleteMaybe it's just my computer. No matter which browser I use, it won't let me reply directly to a comment.
I've had no trouble with Firefox. I cannot compose blogs in Internet Explorer, which is frequently dysfunctional. However, I've read that Google has cut Firefox loose, they have pulled their toolbar, which was at least half of Mozilla's income. So Firefox may be in trouble long-term.
