ReplyDeleteIt appears to be an older book, so I'm also impressed the Book Council isn't promoting something brand-new: that makes a change from the way things are done here, for sure.
I could probably get my hands fairly easily on one of Gee's children's books, but not Going West. And there were too many distractions for me to tell from the reading whether I'd actually like the book.
Extrordinary bit of artwork using a book. They certainly believe in the book. I'll look into it.
