Authors Talking

A comment on someone else’s BTT question this week inspired this question:
Do you read any author’s blogs? If so, are you looking for information on their next project? On the author personally? Something else?

The only author's blog that I read regularly is Haven Kimmel's. I've never seen another writer have a blog anything like hers. She writes about taxidermy. Quakers. Family. Current events. She hosts discussions of her novels. She posts striking photos of varmints and plastic toys. She shares her poetry. She tells the most extraordinary lies. Really, anything I might need to read, whether I realize it or not, is here.

Booking Through Thursday

  1. I don't follow any author blogs but the one you mentioned does sound interesting! Taxidermy? Pictures of varmits? I'm curious!

  2. I don't really follow many author blogs regularly myself, but reading everyone's answers make me want to check out more of them.

  3. She sounds like a winner. Thanks for sharing. Happy Vintage Thingy Thursday!

  4. duh I meant Booking Through Thursday!

  5. What a wonderful link. I clicked over and ended up bookmarking it to read for later. Lovely writer and interesting blog. Thank you.

  6. Thank you, thank you! I love Haven Kimmel and didn't know she had a blog.

  7. I had never heard of Haven Kimmel before reading your post. But anybody who writes about taxidermy and also writes poetry sounds like someone I should check out!

  8. I'm not an author blog reader. Generally, my belief is that they shouldn't be farting around on blogs. They should be producing a new book for me to enjoy! lol. But I'm going to check out Haven Kimmel's.
