Last time I received an Amazon delivery from the UK, my Seamus Heaney was bent and my Orhan Pamuk had its jacket scuffed. This time, fortunately, the mail carrier saw fit to bring my package to the door (although he left the magazines, cards and political flyers at the street) instead of attempting to wrap it around the mailbox flag. My Kate Atkinson arrived in perfect condition today, complete with an attached red ribbon marker. It's so pretty I don't regret not waiting for the US version.
